The Office of Civil Rights (OCR) oversees Labor Compliance provisions on all Public Works contracts for SamTrans/Caltrain. All contractors, subcontractors, and professional service firms performing work on Public Works contracts must comply with applicable federal and state prevailing wage requirements.  

Contractors  

All contractors working on Public Works contracts must be register with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) prior to bidding, pay their workers the applicable prevailing wage rates, comply with apprenticeship requirements, and submit certified payrolls (CPR) weekly.
