This Friday, December 13, SamTrans will be hosting its annual Stuff A Bus event from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Serramonte Center in Daly City. This holiday toy drive, co-sponsored by WILD 94.9 and Serramonte Center, will collect gifts for local children in need.
The public is encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys to stuff the inside of a wrapped SamTrans Holiday Bus that will be parked in front of Jamba Juice at 3 Serramonte Center. All donations will benefit Bay Area youth through Unity Care’s youth and family programs, the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program and the Salvation Army’s Season of Giving Program. Stick around afterward for some hot chocolate, cookies and giveaways.
WILD 94.9’s on-air talent Crystal Rosas will be at the event to help promote the toy drive.
SamTrans serves shopping centers in San Francisco, San Mateo and Santa Clara counties, providing easy access for holiday shoppers to avoid the hassle of navigating traffic and hunting for a parking space, while also decreasing congestion and our carbon footprint.
The SamTrans Holiday Bus will be in service throughout the month of December. For schedule and fare information or for help planning your trip, call 1-800-660-4287 (TTY 650-508-6448) or visit www.samtrans.com.
