Art & craft enthusiasts from throughout the Peninsula will flock to the 2019 Harvest Festival Original Art & Craft Show at the San Mateo County Event Center. The festival will be held this weekend, November 15-17, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Sunday, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, during which SamTrans and Caltrain are on hand to get attendees there and back again.
Peninsula residents can get to the festival without the stress and worries of traffic by taking public transportation. The fairgrounds are served by SamTrans Routes ECR, ECR Rapid and 292, with stops located nearby.
The Event Center is accessible by Caltrain from both the Hillsdale and Hayward Park Stations. Customers arriving at the Hillsdale Station can walk a short distance along Delaware Street to the fairgrounds main entrance. Riders using the Hayward Park Station can take Concar Drive to Delaware Street.
The Harvest Festival has been held for 47 years in various locations throughout California. This year’s festival in San Mateo will feature hundreds of artisans, specializing in clothing, jewelry, specialty foods, toys, holiday decor and more. Patrons can listen to live music and entertainment, enjoy festival foods and visit a hands-on KidZone where kids can decorate gingerbread cookies.
