SamTrans Holiday Schedules and Free Rides on New Year's Eve
SamTrans will operate on a Sunday schedule on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. The following routes operate on a Sunday schedule: 14, 17, 38, 110, 112, 120, 121, 122, 130, 140, 250, 280, 281, 292, 296, 397, ECR and KX.
Additionally, on New Year’s Eve, SamTrans will offer free rides beginning at 11 p.m. to encourage New Year’s Eve partygoers to use SamTrans as their designated driver. The free rides will continue until 2 a.m.
RediWheels and RediCoast, the San Mateo County Transit District’s paratransit service providers, also will offer free rides between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m.
