Passes are on sale between the 21st of each month and the 7th of the following month. Passes may be purchased at any of our vendors.

Senior/Disabled/Medicare cardholder and Youth Passes are accepted as full fare on any Regular Fixed-route Service at any time.

Route KX is a mixed-service route and offers express service into and out of San Francisco. Patrons traveling into San Francisco may pay the full local or express fare upon boarding. Those paying the full express fare receive an "Express Fare Paid" receipt to be deposited in the farebox at the end of trip. Patrons without an "Express Fare Paid" receipt at end of trip must pay the additional fare.

** Local fares are paid on all routes that are not mentioned in the above fare chart.

+ Riders with disabilities and seniors who present a Regional Transit Connection Discount Card or Department of Motor Vehicle Disabled Placard ID Card may ride for a discounted fare (refer to fare chart). A discounted fare also is offered to Medicare cardholders.

Tokens
A package of Tokens gives the rider up to a 20% discount over paying cash fares on local routes. Multiple tokens or a token and the cash difference may be used on an express bus or on Routes 391, 292 or 397 out of San Francisco. Tokens are available in packages of 10 only.
