The following valid Bay Area transit passes are accepted on SamTrans fixed-route service as indicated:

• AC Transit - Monthly pass accepted as a local fare credit at shared bus stops during validity period indicated.
• BART - BART Plus ticket (both A and B) as a local fare credit on any SamTrans bus at any time. “A” is good from the 1st to the 15th of the month, “B” is good from the 16th to the 31st. There is no grace period when boarding SamTrans buses.
• Caltrain - Monthly pass with two or more zones as a local fare credit on any SamTrans bus at any time.
• DB (Dumbarton Express) - Monthly passes as a local fare credit at shared bus stops.
• Golden Gate Transit - SamTrans sticker affixed to a Golden Gate Transit 20-ride ticket book as a local fare credit on any SamTrans bus at any time.
• Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority - Monthly and Day passes as a local fare credit at all bus stops in Menlo Park and Palo Alto. Ecopasses and VTA outreach cards aren't accepted. VTA will accept SamTrans Monthly Passes as a local fare credit at all bus stops in Palo Alto.
