Board Approves SamTrans Pass with MUNI Sticker Fare Change
The San Mateo County Transit District Board of Directors following a public hearing
approved the proposed fare change for the SamTrans Pass with Muni Sticker add-on
during its July 9 meeting.
The SamTrans Pass with Muni Sticker is a combination of a SamTrans Adult Monthly Pass,
and a Muni monthly Fast Pass which is valid for use on any Muni bus or light rail
line.
The change reflects a fare increase on the Muni Sticker portion and a uniform 15
percent discount on the SamTrans Pass portion.
The new SamTrans Pass with Muni Sticker fares effective Sept. 1 will be:
- Local service: $69
- San Francisco/San Mateo County local service: $86
- Express service: $127
SamTrans passes are sold at nearly 100 sales outlets throughout San Mateo County and
San Francisco.
