RediCoast Kicks Off Service for County's Coastside Residents
Beginning Nov. 8, the San Mateo County Transit District's Redi-Wheels services will
kick-off RediCoast operations throughout San Mateo County's coastal cities.
RediCoast, like Redi-Wheels, will provide paratransit service to persons with
disabilities in coastal cities from Pacifica to La Honda.
By calling at least one day in advance to reserve a ride, patrons will be able to get
to doctor's appointments, social outings, shopping and more on both sides of San
Mateo County's hills without a service transfer.
The service is expected to provide approximately 100 coastside riders per day.
Riders can began scheduling pick-ups Nov. 1 for service beginning Nov. 8. RediCoast
will accept reservations up to seven days in advance and must call at least one day
in advance of the intended travel date. To make a reservation, riders who've
completed the application process should contact (650) 560-0360.
For questions, comments, information or applications, coastside residents should
contact SamTrans Customer Service at 1-800-600-4287.
