SamTrans Offers Ticket to Freedom for San Mateo County Kids
School is out and kids are ready to cruise. The SamTrans Summer Youth Pass offers
endless freedom for kids 17 years and younger to reach most any destination in San
Mateo County, or to link with other public transit systems to get around the Bay Area.
For only $25, kids have unlimited rides on SamTrans' air-conditioned local and
express buses through August. By purchasing the colorful plastic flash pass, kids, or
their parents, save 62 percent off the price of three individual youth monthly passes,
valued at a total cost of $66.
The Summer Youth Pass is available at SamTrans headquarters at 1250 San Carlos Ave.,
San Carlos, and at nearly 100 SamTrans pass sales outlets located throughout the
county, including all Safeway stores. The passes also can be ordered by mail.
