49er Fans Score a Touchdown With Express Football Service

Peninsula 49er fans can do an end-run around traffic and parking hassles by taking SamTrans’ express bus service to Candlestick Park.

SamTrans offers service to all home games on six express routes. Route 810 serves Pacifica. South San Francisco is served by Route 820. Route 840 begins in Burlingame and also picks up fans in San Bruno. Route 850 serves San Mateo and Burlingame stops, and Foster City fans can board Route 851. Route 880 picks up fans in Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Atherton, Redwood City, San Carlos and Belmont.

All buses arrive at the park approximately 30 minutes before game time. Return trips depart beginning 20 minutes after the game.

Round-trip fare is $12. A season bus pass, which covers round-trip express transportation to all home games, including pre-season games and potential post-season playoffs, is $72, and a four-game ticket book is $42. Payments can be made with cash, check, money order or credit card. Order by mail or purchase at SamTrans headquarters, 1250 San Carlos Ave. in San Carlos.
