SamTrans Rerouted During PA Transit Center Construction
All SamTrans buses serving the Palo Alto
Transit Center (PDF, 871 KB) will be rerouted beginning Aug. 30 while the transit
center is being renovated. The detour is expected to be in effect for approximately
eight months.
The existing bus stops on El Camino Real and Quarry Road will be the terminal point
for Routes 297, 390, 397 and 880, SamTrans’ football express bus to Candlestick Park.
The Caltrain stop for westbound Routes 280 and 281 will be moved to High Street and
Lytton Avenue. Eastbound, the bus will serve the stop at Alma Street and Lytton
Avenue.
Riders can connect with VTA Route 88 and the Dumbarton Express at a temporary bus stop
on Alma Street, adjacent to the Caltrain parking lot.
