SamTrans to Operate Holiday Service, Free Rides on New Year's Eve
SamTrans will operate a holiday schedule on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, and New Year’s
Day, Jan. 1.
On Dec. 31, New Year’s Eve, SamTrans will offer free rides on all fixed-route buses
beginning at 11 p.m. to encourage New Year’s Eve partygoers to use SamTrans as their
designated driver. The free service will be available until Route 397, SamTrans “owl”
service, terminates at Stanford Shopping Center at 6:20 a.m. on New Year’s Day.
On Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, SamTrans will operate the following routes using
holiday schedules:
- In north county: 120, 121, 122, 130
- In central county and coastside: 110, 112, 294
- In south county: 280, 281, 296, 297
- El Camino Real service: 390, 391
- San Francisco to Peninsula: KX, 292, 397
No other SamTrans routes will operate.
