Deeply Discounted SamTrans Summer Youth Pass on Sale Now
SamTrans’ Summer Youth Pass is now on sale. The pass, which is available to kids under
18, allows unlimited rides on SamTrans buses all summer long for only $25 – less than
the cost of a tank of gas.
The Summer Youth Pass is a win-win for kids and parents. Learning to use public
transportation teaches kids important life-skills such as how to read a map, plan a
social outing and make the best use of their time. And, parents get a vacation from
driving the neighborhood carpool.
With a Summer Youth Pass, there is no need to keep correct change on hand. Even after
a trip to the mall, kids still have a safe ride home. The colorful plastic flash-pass
can be carried in a wallet or back pack or attached to the SamTrans skateboard key ring
that comes free with every purchase.
The pass, which is good from June 1 to Aug. 31, will be on sale until July 15 at
SamTrans headquarters offices at 1250 San Carlos Ave. in San Carlos, and at nearly 100
SamTrans pass sales outlets located throughout the county, including all Safeway stores.
The passes also can be ordered by mail.
