SamTrans Best Offense Against Monster Park Traffic

SamTrans offers the best strategy for fans heading to 49er football at Monster Park, with six express bus routes positioned to maneuver around game-day traffic and parking hassles.

SamTrans offers five special football service routes from as far south as Palo Alto, as well as Coastal Route 810, which serves Pacifica.

South San Francisco and Colma are served by Route 820.  Route 840 serves  Millbrae/Burlingame and also picks up fans in San Bruno.  Route 850 serves San Mateo and Burlingame, while Foster City fans can board Route 851.  Route 880 picks up fans in Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Atherton, Redwood City, San Carlos and Belmont before heading non-stop to the ballpark.

All buses arrive at Monster Park no later than 30 minutes before game time, and depart from the parking lot 20 minutes after the game.

Round-trip fare is $15, but fans can save even more with a season bus pass, which covers round-trip express transportation to all home games, including pre-season games and potential post-season playoffs, is just $90.   A four-game ticket book costs $52.

Payments can be made with cash, check, money order or credit card. Order by mail or purchase at SamTrans headquarters, 1250 San Carlos Ave. in San Carlos.
