SamTrans to RUN FREE Shuttle Service to Fireworks in Foster City

SamTrans will operate on a “holiday schedule” for Independence Day, with a special free shuttle service to the festivities at Ryan Park in Foster City on Tuesday, July 4. The service is sponsored by the city.

Two shuttles will take passengers to the park every 10 minutes between 6 p.m. and 8:40 p.m. Return trips will leave the park at 9:30 p.m., or 10 minutes after the fireworks are over, and continue as long as necessary.

The Blue Route will begin and end at the Foster City Library, located at Hillsdale and Shell boulevards, and travel through the Gull area.

The Red Route will begin at Altair Avenue and Hillsdale Boulevard and pick up passengers in the Port Royal area. The route will end at the Foster City Library.

Passengers may board only at designated stops marked with Red Route and Blue Route signs.

The SamTrans holiday schedule operates as follows:

• In North County: 120, 121, 122, 130
• In Central County and Coastside: 110, 112, 294
• In South County: 280, 281, 296, 297
• San Francisco to the Peninsula: KX, 292, 390, 391, 397
