SamTrans Rushes Fans to Monster Park for 49ers Football

SamTrans is the best defense against offensive game-day traffic and parking hassles for 49ers home games at Monster Park. On Monday, Aug. 13, SamTrans kicks off its annual 49ers service, with six special football service routes throughout the county, and from the Palo Alto Caltrain Station. Another route serves Pacifica on the coastside.

This year, SamTrans has adjusted its routes to include new pick-up points at the Caltrain stations at Millbrae, San Bruno, South San Francisco and Belmont. Some fans have been riding SamTrans 49ers service to the game for more than a decade, and they swear by the ease of the service and the savings on gas and stadium parking costs. All buses arrive at Monster Park at least 30 minutes before game time, and depart from the parking lot 20 minutes after the game.

Stadium parking at Monster Park is $25, while SamTrans’ round-trip fare for 49ers service is only $15. Fans can save even more with a season bus pass, which covers round-trip express transportation to all home games, including pre-season games and potential post-season playoffs, for only $90. A four-game ticket book costs $52. To download a 49ers service order form, click HERE.

Payments can be made with cash, check, money order or credit card. Order by mail or purchase at SamTrans headquarters, 1250 San Carlos Ave. in San Carlos. For more information about 49ers service call SamTrans customer service at 1-800-660-4287 (TTY 650-508-6448).
