Avoid traffic and parking hassles by taking SamTrans to the Pacific Coast Fog Fest on Sept. 29 and 30. The festival area, which runs on Palmetto Avenue from Manor Drive to Clarendon Road, is served by Routes 14, 110, 112 and 294. Route 112, which usually serves stops on Palmetto Avenue, will be rerouted to Oceana Boulevard, just one block from the festival.

More than 60,000 people are expected to attend Pacifica’s signature festival, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary. The two-day fair features more than 190 arts and crafts booths, three stages of live entertainment and plenty of tasty food and drink. All proceeds from the event benefit Pacifica community groups.

This year, the Fog Fest will join many other festivals in becoming a “greener” event. All food booths will be required to use bio-degradable, corn-based cups and cutlery and souvenir cloth shopping bags will be available for purchase.
