Wine lovers don’t have to worry about drinking and driving, if they take SamTrans to the 12th annual San Mateo Wine Walk 2007, Friday, June 22, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The festival in downtown San Mateo features wares from a range of California wineries, with outdoor wine gardens and more than 25 tasting rooms. Food, music and local merchants also will be on hand in the festival area.

The festival area is served by Routes 390 and 391, which run along El Camino Real until shortly after midnight, and by Routes 250, 292 and 295, which stop at the San Mateo Caltrain Station.
