Ditch rising gas prices for SamTrans, the affordable solution for parents to get their kids back to school this fall.

SamTrans serves 25 elementary schools, 18 middle schools, 18 high schools and six colleges throughout San Mateo County.

Students 17 years old and younger can take advantage of SamTrans’ Youth Pass for only $29 each month. The Youth Pass is good for unlimited travel on any Local or Express route at any time. SamTrans offers an even more discounted monthly Youth Pass for students who qualify for the free or reduced-cost lunch program. These additionally discounted passes are only available through participating schools.

For periodic bus riders, SamTrans Youth Tokens provide up to a 20 percent discount over cash fares on local routes.
