Connecting with Customers
SamTrans believes that it’s important to let customers know that we care about them and value them. Talking with our customers where they get on and off the bus offers them a convenient way to ask questions and get information. It also allows employees to thank the customer in person for choosing to ride SamTrans.
As part of a once-a-month yearlong project that wrapped up in 2013, teams of SamTrans employees spent time with customers at their bus stops in East Palo Alto, Redwood City, San Mateo, Half Moon Bay, Pacifica, Daly City and Colma. It was great chatting with customers.
