Timetable Updates

Summary of Changes - Effective June 16, 2013
SamTrans will adjust service on the following routes to improve on-time performance and, where applicable, connections to other SamTrans bus routes, Caltrain and BART.

Because regular school won’t be in session, the following routes will not operate between June 17 and Aug. 9: Routes 16, 35, 36, 43, 46, 53, 55, 58, 72 and 73. Service will start again on school days after Aug. 11.

For schools in session during the summer, the following routes will have some summer school day-only service between June 17 and Aug. 9: Routes 17, 24, 83, 85, 120, 121, 141, 260, 262, 295 and 296. Schedules will be updated online only.

Regular non-school day bus service will continue to operate with no change in schedules for Routes 141, 260, 262, and 296.

The majority of service will be adjusted by up to 10 minutes later or five minutes earlier to improve on-time performance.

Saturday, two trips will be added at 7:43 a.m. and 8:25 a.m. Three trips on Sunday will be added at 7:05 a.m., 7:43 a.m. and 8:52 a.m. Most other trips will be adjusted by up to 19 minutes later to 12 minutes earlier.

Earlier and later service will be added on all days offering expanded service and improving on-time performance. Weekday, northbound, service from Colma BART will be start at 5:01 a.m. and will be extended to 11:22 p.m. Southbound service from Brunswick St. & Templeton Ave. will start at 5:18 a.m. and operate until 11:45 p.m. Adjustments of up to 16 minutes later or 20 minutes earlier will be made to the service to improve on-time performance and BART connections.

Saturday, northbound service will start at 5:59 a.m. from Serramonte & Callan boulevards and will operate until 11:07 p.m.

Sunday, southbound service from Brunswick St. & Templeton Ave. will begin at 7:05 a.m. and will operate until 10:05 p.m. Northbound service from Colma BART will begin at 6:19 a.m. and operate until 10:07 p.m.

Weekends, adjustments of up to 24 minutes earlier or 16 minutes later will be made to the schedule to improve on-time performance.

All weekend trips will serve Skyline College, with service beginning at 7:27 a.m. from Skyline College and from Lowell & Hanover streets. All times will be adjusted by up to 24 minutes later.

The southbound bus will depart from Colma BART at 6:48 a.m., one minute earlier than the current schedule. Weekday morning service on Oakridge Dr. and Alta Vista Way will be increased to every 60 minutes instead of every 30 minutes to better match ridership demand and afternoon service. Minor adjustments will be made to northbound service by up to four minutes later or three minutes earlier.

Earlier and later service will be added on all days. Northbound service from South San Francisco BART will begin at 5:15 a.m. and operate until 9 p.m. Adjustments to service will be made by up to 20 minutes later or six minutes earlier. Southbound service from Lake Merced & John Daly boulevards will start at 5:27 a.m. Morning service will be increased to every 30 minutes instead of every 20 minutes to match ridership demand.

Saturday, northbound service from South San Francisco BART will operate until 6:04 p.m. The majority of all times will be adjusted up to three minutes earlier or two minutes later. Sunday, southbound service from Stonestown Shopping Center will start at 8:21 a.m. and will operate until 7:26 p.m. The majority of times will be adjusted by up to 12 minutes earlier or five minutes later.

Northbound service will begin earlier at 3:55 a.m. and southbound service will start at 4:30 a.m. Major late evening schedule adjustments of up to 17 minutes later will be made to improve on-time performance and provide additional service to match ridership demand.

Southbound service from Portrero Ave. & 24th St. to San Francisco Airport International will operate every 15 minutes from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. Service from the airport to downtown San Francisco will operate every 15 minutes between 3 p.m. and 5:45 p.m.

The bus will depart from Hillsdale Blvd. & Edison St. at 8:05 a.m., one minute later than the current schedule to improve connections from Route 294 at Alameda de las Pulgas & 20th Ave.
