Rules:

Radio Disney AM 1310 KMKY Phone Line SamTrans Green Tip Sweepstakes

I. NAME OF SPONSOR(S)
Radio Disney AM 1310 KMKY, SamTrans (Hereinafter collectively referred to as “Sponsor”).

II. ELIGIBILITY
Sweepstakes are open to all legal San Mateo County residents age 17 years and younger as of entry date.

Any individuals (including but not limited to employees, consultants, independent contractors, and interns) who have, within the past six months, performed services for Radio Disney AM 1310 KMKY, any organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the sweepstakes or supplying the prize, and/or their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, and immediate family and household members of such individuals, are not eligible to enter or play. “Immediate family members” shall mean parents, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses. “Immediate family members” shall mean parents, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses. “Household members” shall mean people who share the same residence at least three months a year.

III. HOW AND WHEN TO ENTER

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

Call the KMKY Kids Line at 1-877-4AM-1310 between May 18, 2009– May 31, 2009 and leave your Green Tip and your name, address and phone number.

Entries remain the property of Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged.

One entry per person.

Only calls to the specified phone number can win. Sponsor is not responsible for inability of caller to complete call within specified time, whether due to busy lines, disconnections, telephone malfunctions or other circumstances.

IV. HOW AND WHEN WINNERS WILL BE SELECTED AND NOTIFIED

One grand prize winner and three runners-up will be selected from all valid entries received.

Winners will be notified by phone on or around June 2, 2009 using the phone number left on the phone line.

Limit one prize per winner for this contest.

Odds of winning depend on number of valid entries received. Many will enter, only one will win the grand prize.

V. PRIZE(S)

If your tip is chosen, you will get to go to the Radio Disney studio in
San Carlos to record your green tip and take a tour of the station. The grand prize winner also will receive a Summer Youth Pass and a $50 shopping mall gift certificate, plus a Disney DVD. There also are prizes for runners-up, including one $15 iTunes card, a Summer Youth Pass and a Disney DVD for each runner-up.

Winner will have 30 days from being notified to accept their prize. If not received within 30 days, prize will automatically be considered forfeited.

All expenses not specifically provided for herein are the winner’s sole responsibility. Some restrictions may apply.

Federal, state and local taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner, who will receive an IRS Form 1099 reflecting the final actual value of any prize valued at $600 or more.

Winners are not entitled to exchange or transfer prizes or to obtain cash or other substitutes, but Sponsor in its sole discretion may substitute prizes of equal or greater value.

If won by a minor, prize will be awarded in parent’s or guardian’s name.

VI. RELEASES
By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of the Sponsor/Judges and the sweepstakes administrator, which shall be final in all respects.

By participating in this sweepstakes and accepting any prize that they may win, entrants agree to release Radio Disney AM 1310 KMKY, ABC Radio, their parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, advertising and promotion agencies and prize suppliers, and each of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees, as well as each of their respective successors, representatives and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all actions, claims, injury, loss or damage arising in any manner, directly or indirectly, from participation in this sweepstakes and/or acceptance or use of the prize.

Entrants authorize the Released Parties to use their name, voice, likeness, biographical data, city and state of residence and entry materials in programming or promotional material, worldwide in perpetuity, or on a winner’s list, if applicable, without further compensation unless prohibited by law. Sponsor is not obligated to use any of the above mentioned information or materials, but may do so and may edit such information or materials, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, without further obligation or compensation.

To claim prize: (a) winner must provide proof of age, identity and residency; (b) winner and winner’s parent or legal guardian must sign and return affidavit of eligibility/compliance with rules, publicity/liability release and indemnification; and (c) winner’s intended guest(s) or travel companion(s), if any, and their parent(s) or legal guardian(s) must sign liability/publicity release, all within the time period specified by Sponsor.

VII. MISCELLANEOUS; WINNERS’ LIST
Void where prohibited. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel, terminate, modify and/or suspend the contest in the event of tampering or other circumstances, including but not limited to acts of God or civil disturbance that render it impractical or impossible to complete or fulfill the contest as originally planned.

Privacy Policy for Children

Any information collected by SamTrans from children younger than 13 is subject to the same guidelines as the general SamTrans Privacy Policy. In addition, the following guidelines will be followed for any information collected for any child younger than 13:

  • Information that could be collected includes, but might not be limited to, name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, school, hobbies, and transportation habits.
  • Parental (including legal guardian) consent will be obtained before collecting, using, or disclosing information about a child, unless the contact information obtained is only an e-mail address that is used only to respond to a request by a child.
  • If a child enters our contest by e-mail, we will respond by using that child’s e-mail address, but we will only keep the address until the contest is complete, and we will not use it again or share it with a third party.
  • No one will be excluded from using our Web site for not giving us personal information.
  • No identifying information, other than an e-mail address, will be required to participate in surveys directed at children.
  • We will obtain parental consent before we award any prizes.
  • Parents will be able to review the personal information collected from their children. This will require verification of the identity of the requesting parent.
  • Parents will be allowed to revoke their consent and delete information collected from or for their children on request. When consent is revoked, we will stop collecting, using or disclosing information from that child.
  • If any information practices change in a “material” way, we will obtain consent from parents if required. This includes changes in the kinds of material being collected, a change in how that information is being used, or if there is a change in the third parties that have access to that information.
