Get Us Moving San Mateo County (GUM) will be offering several opportunities for the public to share their thoughts about strategies to address the County’s critical transportation needs.
GUM is a collaborative effort between the San Mateo County Transit District, the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors and partner agencies and organizations. GUM is designed to inform the San Mateo County Transit District Board of Directors and the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors about San Mateo County residents’ transportation priorities. The Transit District and the County will use this feedback to develop a San Mateo County Transportation Expenditure Plan that will be included in a potential ballot measure creating new transportation revenues. The town halls are part of a larger public outreach effort that includes an online survey and coordinated presentations to City Councils, chambers of commerce and other community organizations throughout the County.
