Safe Spaces on Transit Program

The San Mateo County Transit District, in partnership with The Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center (PCRC), is hosting listening sessions to hear feedback about harassment on transit.

Community safety should be informed by community experiences. Before the District develops policies we would like to hear the experiences of our riders and community members.

Listening Sessions

To create safe spaces free of harassment, the District is holding community listening sessions. This proactive approach is an opportunity to hear the safety concerns and experiences of passengers. The Listening Sessions will occur online (Zoom) and will be moderated by PCRC. Anyone is welcome to attend.

We will be rescheduling the listening sessions due to the holidays.
