Festivities surrounding SF (Bay Area) Beer week are upon us, and the event list for this year is loaded from Feb. 9 to 18, including many signature events in San Mateo County.

Consider taking the backbone of SamTrans bus routes, the ECR, to get you to/from your Beer Week celebrations. Nearly all of the events listed below are within a short walk of an ECR bus stop. For others (Freewheel Brewing and State of Mind Public House), the 270 is a good option and can connect with the ECR at the Redwood City Transit Center.

Coastside options

San Mateo County’s coastal residents also have several options for soaking up the Beer Week fun. Both the Half Moon Bay and Pacifica areas have multiple locations where craft beer is made and celebrated.

When in Half Moon Bay, consider using Ride Plus to connect you with your beer destination and Routes 294 and 117. This is a great option for both Hop Dogma Brewery and Half Moon Bay Brewing at Pillar Point Harbor. In addition to the 117, Pacifica is also served by Route 110 with connections to Daly City BART. Starting Sunday, Feb. 11, bus frequency for the 110 will increase to every 30 minutes throughout the day on weekdays.
