SamTrans Adjusts Service on Several Routes

To increase the efficiency and reliability of its service, SamTrans is adjusting service schedules on several bus routes.

The new SamTrans service changes go into effect Sunday, June 19 and will adjust to school closures during its summer recess. There will be no school-day service during the summer months, and there will be updates made to several local routes.

SamTrans adjusts its scheduling and service operations several times a year to take into account changing traffic impacts, travel patterns and bus operator availability. The adjustments help improve on-time performance standards and make the bus system run more smoothly during different times of the year.

SamTrans continues to focus on reliability and efficiency for riders in the county to get to and from their destinations safely.

Members of the public interested in commenting on the changes can submit feedback through the SamTrans website. Riders are always encouraged to check the new schedules for the routes they will use.
