SamTrans offers an Eligible Discount fare for passengers 65 years old and better, which applies to cash fares, Clipper cards or the free SamTrans Mobile ticketing app. Clipper cards are free for seniors. Learn more about fares

(Senior / Disabled / Medicare cardholder)
** Seniors (65 years or older) and passengers with disabilities who present a Regional Transit Connection Discount Card, a current Disabled Placard Identification card issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles, a valid transit discount card issued by another California transit agency which is equivalent to the RTCDC or those who are Medicare cardholders may ride for a discounted fare.
