SamTrans’ North Base Maintenance Facility’s Building 200 needs to be replaced due to concerns about the long-term viability of the building’s foundation. A 2019 study determined the current condition of the soil doesn’t support the structure.
Currently in the design phase, the Building 200 Replacement Project is intended to give a sound building support system and increase the space for operators and staff while allowing SamTrans to continue to provide its customers with excellent service.
For questions or more information on the project, please email NorthBaseBuilding200@samtrans.com.
Environmental Documents
