SamTrans is ready to help you with your transportation needs this coming Independence Day. The fixed-route bus system will follow a standard holiday schedule on Friday, July 4. This means SamTrans bus routes will run a Sunday schedule in recognition of the holiday.
Ride Plus will operate its normal schedule within its two service areas of Half Moon Bay/El Granada from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and East Palo Alto/Belle Haven from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The administrative offices of the San Mateo County Transit District at 1250 San Carlos Ave., San Carlos, will be closed on July 4.

The San Mateo County Transit District operates 74 routes and two on-demand service areas. Funded in part by a half-cent sales tax, the district also provides administrative support for Caltrain and the San Mateo County Transportation Authority. SamTrans has provided bus service to San Mateo County customers since 1976.
