Starting this Sunday, Jan. 11, SamTrans will adjust timetables for two routes to make the system more efficient.
Route 142
- Weekday departures from the SFO Rental Car AirTrain will now leave on the hour.
- Weekday departures from Shelter Creek will now leave between 14 and 20 minutes after the hour.
CSM (College of San Mateo)
- Weekend trips from San Mateo Caltrain to the College of San Mateo will now depart six minutes earlier.
- Weekend trips from the College of San Mateo to San Mateo Caltrain will now depart 18 minutes earlier.

SamTrans reviews and adjusts its schedules four times a year to keep pace with community needs and improve on-time performance. SamTrans also updates its schedules to improve regional connections with Caltrain, BART, Muni and San Francisco Bay Ferry, making it easier for riders to get where they need to go. The next systemwide schedule change is planned for June.
