SamTrans will run Sunday bus schedules on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27, because of the holiday.
The fixed-route bus system will follow its standard holiday schedule, meaning routes will run less frequently than on weekdays. Routes that do not normally operate on Sundays will not be in service.
Ride Plus, SamTrans’ on-demand service, will operate its normal schedule within its two service areas of Half Moon Bay/El Granada from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and East Palo Alto/Belle Haven from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
For the day after Thanksgiving, Friday, Nov. 28, SamTrans will operate regular weekday schedules; however, school-oriented (two-digit) routes will not be in service.
Please note, the administrative offices of the San Mateo County Transit District, which manages SamTrans, will be closed on Thanksgiving and Friday, Nov. 28.
The Transit District Customer Service Call Center will be available on Thanksgiving from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the day after Thanksgiving from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Please call 1-800-660-4287 to speak with a representative.
