SamTrans, TA Release Year in Review Reports

SamTrans and the San Mateo County Transportation Authority (TA) have published webpages detailing their accomplishments over the course of 2022.

Both agencies made many accomplishments in 2022, including the hiring of April Chan as the General Manager/CEO of SamTrans and the Executive Director of the TA. SamTrans adopted the route structure laid out by Reimagine SamTrans and ordered 30 new zero emissions buses, while continuing to grow its ridership. The TA won an award for its new ACR-TDM Plan and has gotten the US 101 Express Lane Project to the testing phase, while breaking its all-time record for funding bicycle projects.

Both agencies are committed to continuing to improve their services in order to meet the needs of those who live and work in San Mateo County. The New Year will see more efforts to reduce congestion and help people get where they need to go.
