SamTrans makes it easy to attend 55th annual Millbrae Art & Wine Festival

Millbrae AW Fest 2026

Thousands of people are expected to fill downtown Millbrae this Labor Day weekend for the the 55th annual Millbrae Art & Wine Festival, and SamTrans can help you get there.  

The event runs both Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 5-6, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Broadway Avenue in downtown Millbrae. Admission is free. 

Attendees can use routes ECR and 292, which serve stops near the festival area and Millbrae Transit Center. 

The two-day celebration is expected to draw more than 50,000 visitors and will feature more than 170 artists and crafters, enjoy live music, craft beer and wine tasting, artisan food booths, interactive art workshops, kids’ crafts, games, community groups and other family-friendly activities. 

Taking SamTrans also lets you enjoy the festival’s craft beer and wine tasting, without having to get behind the wheel. 

A free independent shuttle will also operate every 20 minutes between Millbrae Station and the event. It will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, providing festivalgoers with an easy connection between regional transit and the heart of the celebration.

The San Mateo County Transit District operates 74 routes and two on-demand service areas.
