SamTrans Summer Youth Pass On Sale Now

School is almost out and summertime is just around the corner, meaning it’s the perfect time for parents to purchase a Summer Youth Pass (SYP) for kids 18 years and younger. The SYP is on sale now for $40 and is good for unlimited rides on any SamTrans route from June 1 through August 31. Parents save $41 compared to buying three Youth Monthly passes.

Kids can find their way to visiting friends, museums, libraries, movie theaters, shopping and entertainment by riding SamTrans throughout San Mateo County, from Daly City to East Palo Alto, and from the Coastside to the Bay.

The SYP is available for purchase and use on the SamTrans Mobile app. Passes can also be purchased online at SamTrans.com/SYP or in person by visiting SamTrans headquarters at 1250 San Carlos Ave. in San Carlos, which is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The SYP will not be available on the Clipper card.
