Coyote Point Recreation Area 

With panoramic views of San Francisco Bay, Coyote Point features walking trails, picnic areas, a beach, playgrounds and CuriOdyssey science museum. It's one of the county's most popular destinations for outdoor recreation.

San Bruno Mountain County and State Park 

Known for sweeping Bay Area views and miles of hiking trails, San Bruno Mountain is a favorite destination for outdoor enthusiasts looking to escape into nature close to home.

Bay Trail 

Stretching along the shoreline, the San Francisco Bay Trail offers miles of walking and biking with beautiful waterfront views. Several sections are easily accessible from SamTrans service throughout the county.

Park and Recreation Month, established by the National Recreation and Park Association, celebrates the important role parks and recreation play in building healthy, vibrant communities.
